What does Axon provide?
Axon provides professional tutoring to students from Prep to Year 12 in the following areas:
Mathematics
English
Reading
Writing
Spelling
Other subjects
How much time commitment does Axon
require?
Our experience shows that significant progress is made after a child gets into a regular routine. This involves the regular practice of skills, provision of positive reinforcement, ongoing evaluation and personalized teaching. Each individual is different; however statistically, AXON students achieve at a far greater pace than their peers. Students need to commit a minimum of 20 minutes each night to their homework and attend the centre once each week.
At what age should children start with Axon?
One of the keys to success is to be proactive. At a very early age your child will display readiness for learning. It is important to capitalize on these early signs and to support your child towards acquiring the numeracy and literacy skills that are essential for lifelong learning.
Axon's Individual Success Plan takes into consideration all relevant factors and caters for students from Prep to year 12 levels.
What type of tuition does Axon offer?
Axon's programs vary and have many purposes:
Enrichment programs for average, talented and gifted students
Remedial instruction to improve the basic skills in reading, comprehension, writing, grammar, spelling, mathematics and other subjects
Homework support
English as a Second Language
Preparation for Exams and Scholarships
How long do students stay enrolled?
Axon's goal is to assist your child in developing the essential skills required for academic success and ultimately success in life. Students have individual needs and progress at different rates. Some students will reach their goals sooner than others. Hence, the length of time your child stays enrolled can only be determined on an individual needs basis.
How will my child's results improve?
Your child's results should improve gradually through the implementation of the Individual Success Plan which outlines the timeline, the strategies and the specific goals that are required for your child to reach his/her objectives.
How can I be sure that Axon’s Program is working for my child?
AXON provides "real" reports to parents outlining a student's progress and the areas of greatest need. These reports are used by the AXON Teachers to specifically design a work program that targets the student's individual areas of greatest difficulty.
